Show Notes

  1. Do not look at Instagram first thing in the morning. Your brain doesn’t have a chance to filter as well.
  2. Be mindful of your habits
  3. Always show yourself grace when dealing with mistakes you make

How I got caught with crap feelings after looking at Instagram and How I got out of it

It all started on Saturday morning. I didn’t have much of a plan and decided to let my emotions take me through the day.. Well, that lead me to clean out my bathroom sink where I found myself sitting on the bathroom floor, scrolling through Instagram. I came across a couple of posts from people I should not have been following in the first place and I grossly made the mistake of comparing myself to their lives and their perceived progress, causing me to question all of my efforts and focus. Here’s what I did to get out of it. And if you’re interested in diving deeper into the idea of “falling behind” and not “getting ahead” due to being stuck in your head, or your ways.. check out this episode where I am interview on the Soul Collective Podcast talking about all the work I have done to Overcome my Limiting Beliefs.
